Summer has come and gone and our students had a busy time. During and after the Orientation Program students had several activities with the Canadian Exchange Program students. City tours, parks, China Town, bowling, and mini-golf to name a few.
September brought a new adventure and challenge for the kids as the new school year started. Adjusting to a new kind of “school life” was very exciting. As COVID protocols become more lenient new opportunities are becoming available; trips to Toronto and Niagara Falls, and Student trips to Montreal.
It’s wonderful to see students making friends, experiencing new things, and working hard to improve their English skills. They’ve worked hard for this moment for a long time and we are all proud of them.

OGOP（Osakagakugei Ottawa Program)の生徒たちがカナダ・オタワに渡り、３か月が過ぎました。到着後の自主隔離期間中にオンラインでのオリエンテーションや授業に参加し、その後の夏休み期間には、現地の生徒と共にシティ・ツアーやボーリングなど様々なアクティビティを楽しみました。
9月にカナダの新学期が始まり、本格的にカナダでの高校生活が始まりました。ホストファミリーとの生活にも慣れ、英語力を向上させ、異文化理解を深めています。昨年度と比べ、コロナ感染予防の為の制限が緩和され、多くの生徒はホストと共にトロントやナイアガラ滝へ旅行に行ったり、学校主催のツアーで、モントリオールを訪れたりしました。
生徒たちはコロナ禍の中、困難を乗り越えて、新しい友達を作り、新たなことに挑戦し、英語力を伸ばすために日々奮闘しています。帰国までの時間を有意義に過ごし、さらに成長してくれるのが楽しみです。
